A user on Reddit posted, ‘Has anyone else had this problem too, where someone posts a new story and you click on it to see it and it sends you back to the first story they posted, not the new one?’ It’s very disturbing, I hope it’ll be okay soon.”
Another Insta user stated, ‘This was occurring to me too!’ I logged out and deleted the app. Reinstalled it and it worked normally.”
A meta spokesman told The Verge that the company “knows that some people are having trouble accessing Instagram Stories,” and was “working to get things back to normal as soon as possible.”
Meanwhile, the photo-sharing platform is testing a new Stories layout that highly posts hides. Instagram Users can now publish up to 100 stories at once.
