Calvin Harris’s Music Video “Stay With Me”, Released Friday, July 15, the video sets the track’s triad of voices inside a shimmying, turning, lightly psychedelic universe.
Kaleidoscope interiors and VIP spaces are both similarly stunning, and in a stroke of brainiac the video for Calvin Harris‘ newest, “Stay With Me,” unites these two openings with splashy visuals and even flashier stars.
Released Friday, July 15, the clip sets the track’s featured singers, Halsey, Justin Timberlake & Pharrell, inside a spinning, shimmying, lightly psychedelic galaxy, where each of them wrapped in dazzling brights complete the funk-inflected disco opus, with Timberlake providing only the right quantity of air guitar and prompting the video for Jamiroquai’s traditional “Virtual Insanity” while footing on a touching walkway.
In complement to the triad of songsters, Harris also creates two short cameos, occurring on the side of the roadway while the clip’s celebrities get into a couple of fresh chauffeured automobiles, and onetime more, in smooth focus and installed by palm trees.
The videotape was directed by Emil Nava, who’s earlier directed the awesome videos for Harris’ “Promises” with Sam Smith, “One Kiss” along with Dua Lipa, and “Over Now” along with The Weeknd. Watch this stunning piece down.
All three singles are guiding the way for the eventual appearance of the producer’s sixth studio music album, Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 2, his foremost record since 2017’s Vol. 1. The latest LP, out Aug. 5, will again feature associations from Stefflon Don, Charlie Puth, Chloe Bailey, Pusha T, Lil Durk, Shenseea, Offset, Tinashe, 6lack, Normani, Swae Lee, Jorja Smith, Busta Rhymes, Latto, Coi LeRay, and Snoop Dogg.
Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1, released in 2017, featured a rare of the exact collaborators as the upcoming LP, including Pharrell Williams, Young Thug Katy Perry, Migos, Frank Ocean, and Nicki Minaj.
