Doctors and eyewitnesses say Palestinian protesters and Israeli police clashed on Friday morning at the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem.
A member of the Palestinian Red Crescent told AFP that seven people with injuries to the upper body had been taken to the hospital for treatment.
