Four hostages have been released in Dallas, Texas. They were taken hostage in Synagogue, a Jewish synagogue in Colville. All are set free without any harm and captor are said to be dead for ten hours who started a tens situation with police disturbing a religious service.
They were evacuated after a 10-hour standoff with the police. The hostages included a rabbi from Synagogue. Earlier, a special police team was deployed there. FBI negotiators also spent hours talking to the attackers. According to the police, the attacker was killed. However, no information has been received on the cause of death. Before the incident calmed down, explosions and gunfire were heard.
Law enforcement officials told local media that the hostages had been heard demanding the release of Afia Siddiqui, a Pakistani neuroscientist. Afia is currently serving an 86-year prison sentence in the United States. Afia was convicted of trying to assassinate a US military official in Afghanistan.
Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett said in a statement to the Jewish community: “I want to say to the Jews in Koliville and around the world that you are not alone, we stand with you.”
