According to the report, Apple News subscribers are receiving racist language push notifications. A publication representative told CNN that CMS (Content Management System) was hacked on Tuesday evening. As consequence, two nasty and racist push notifications were sent to apple’s subscribers in Apple News.
It is also said that these messages are dishonorable and don’t comply with Fast Company content policies. According to the statement, they are investigating the situation and they have shut down FastCompany.com until this situation has been fixed.

As per a report, the hack was related to FastCompany.com which occurred on Sunday evening, while matching language occurred on the site’s home page and further pages as well.

Currently, the status of fastcompany.com is 404, which is shifted to another safe server to fix the bug. However, Fast Company regrets that such offensive speech occurred on their outlets and Apple News, and FastCompany apologizes to anyone who noticed it before it was shut down.
Currently, people who try to access the website can not see the content. Instead, they will see a 404 error page. Because the website was shut down on Tuesday night. And it is not clear how long the site would be disabled.
Even apple news also highlighted this incident in a Twitter statement saying that an extremely offensive alert was sent by FastCompany that has been hacked. It is not yet sure who is accountable for the hack.
