Due to Russia’s aggression on Ukraine, a condemnation motion was carried against Russia in the United Nations, on which India was missing from voting.
The British minister announced a parliamentary commission, “The matter here is that India relies to some extent on Russia. This dependence is in defense relations and also in economic relations. And I believe that with India to move forward.” Protection and financial ties will have to grow closer.” Truss stated that she has said to the Indian Foreign Minister regarding the issue.
She told that she had spoken to her counterpart Jaishankar and urged India to take a stand against Russia. Recently, German Ambassador to India Walter Lindner had expressed a hope that in the coming days India would change its attitude towards Russia at the United Nations. Lindner called ‘The Hindu’ Spoke in an interview to the newspaper that even Ukraine will stay away from India if they tolerate human rights violations against the citizens of Ukraine.
