Government Jobs In India: Getting a job on compassionate grounds in the Union Home Ministry has now become easier. The applicant will no longer have any problem for the job he gets on compassionate grounds.
Government Jobs In India: The Union Home Ministry has made changes in the rule of giving jobs on compassionate grounds. The transparent and fair process has been further strengthened. The application will also track it. The Department of Personnel and Training has issued necessary guidelines for this. The welfare officer of the department will help the family of the deceased dependent to get a job. The family of the deceased employee will be personally called and told how he will get the job on compassionate grounds and what necessary documents he will have to bring.
The applicant will no longer have any problem for the job he gets on compassionate grounds. The application of the deceased dependent will be considered by a committee of three deputy secretary/director level officers in the Ministry of Home Affairs. The applicant will get the job keeping in mind the number of family members, the age of the children and the financial status of the family. This process is divided into 100 points. The first three financial parameters (annual pension, total in-service benefits and annual income of earning members) are divided into the number of total dependent families.
If there is a tie situation after the per capita income factor is applied, the remaining service of the deceased officer can be considered. The longer the term of service of the deceased officer or employee, the more importance will be given to the family. If the service period is less, he will get less importance than an applicant with a longer service period. Considering the educational qualification of the applicant and the economic condition of the applicant’s family, the ministry will decide on giving the job on compassionate grounds. Everyone has to go through a transparent process to get a job. Care will also be taken that no distinction is with anyone. The employee of the department will help the deceased dependent so that he does not have to run away.
