Video sharing company TikTok Bounce back to challenge Apple and Spotify bringing a new music app.
ByteDance already offers a music streaming app, called Resso. It is available for download in India, although TikTok, another music app of ByteDance, has been banned in the country for security reasons.
Let us inform you that Resso, a Chinese music streaming app was already featured in livemint in 2021 where they noted this app as the top three music streaming apps in India.
ByteDance, the company that makes the TikTok app, is all set to make a splash in India once again. The company, which has made its mark in India through TikTok, is now once again developing an app to challenge Spotify and Apple. It is said that the company is preparing to re-launch TikTok in India by decorating it with a new calendar.

The name of this app will also be ‘TikTok Music’. However, the exact date of the launch is not clear. But if reports are to be believed, this app is going to arrive soon. Like the old TikTok, ‘TikTok Music’ will also enable video, live streaming, audio and video interaction, current events, etc. It will also feature features like podcasts and radios
However, there will be a lot in the TikTok Music app that Resso already has. But the company is well aware that the fame that TikTok has brought it in India and the world has not been able to get it from Resso. So ByteDance wants to cash in on the name of TikTok.
In TikTok Music, a button may also be provided to redirect to Resso. Because the TikTok app burning in Brazil also has a button to access Resso.
