Kathmandu, May 18, 2022: The Nepali Congress has won 196 parishes under the local level member election so far. By midnight today, according to general results, Congress has won 56 municipal heads and 140 municipalities.
In the ongoing polling, Congress is at the forefront of 60 municipalities and 42 municipalities. Congress has won 48 deputy chiefs and 139 vice presidents. Nekapa Yemaale has won 29 towns and 91 municipalities. UML is at the forefront of 45 municipalities and 30 municipalities. UML has won 33 deputy chiefs and 89 vice presidents.

The Communist Centre (Maaobadi) has won 85 places in 11 municipalities and 74 municipalities. Maoist Centre is at the forefront of 13 municipalities and 14 municipalities. So far, Maoist has won 16 deputies and 77 vice presidents.
The Communist (Integrated Socialist) has won two municipalities. The Electoral Commission has indicated it is in front of the Socialists in eight places. Janata Socialist Party Nepal has won the presidency of five municipalities.
